The Department of Construction and Structures of the University of A Coruña is developing a research project on "Deployable and modular constructions for situations of humanitarian disasters". Those responsible for the research, led by the Professor of Structures Don Juan Pérez Valcárcel, have considered it appropriate to propose an Emergency Module using the Ubuild construction system due to the unique and special features that this innovative construction system provides. The Ubuild construction system has the added interest that has been conceived and developed entirely by a professional who has been trained at the University of A Coruña and has had the collaboration of Galician companies.
